Chester FC Honoured by Visit of Red Arrows
RAF Display Team salute to new era for club.
Evo-Stik League Chester FC are delighted to announce that prior to the pre season match against Marine on Saturday 7th August we will be receiving a special flypast from the RAF's Display Team, the Red Arrows.
The world famous Red Arrows are joining in with Chester FC's re-launch celebrations by a flypast over the Deva Stadium, and are at present due to power their way over the Stadium at 2.18pm on the day.
Chester FC Media Officer, Jeff Banks, was delighted with the news, "It's a major coup for Chester FC that the Red Arrows, one of the most well known air display teams in the world, are going to give us their seal of approval for the reformation of our historic club, by a one off flypast across the skies above the Deva Stadium"
"To my knowledge, I don't think this has been done on a matchday in football before, so it's a first, not just for Chester FC, but also for football, and I know the fans will have this unique memory for many many years to come when the Red Arrows fly over the Deva Stadium"
"It's great that in our first season as Chester FC that we can attract the likes of the Red Arrows to give us something that will put smiles on all faces, and especially for the children who will remember this
for years to come, and it will certainly be one of those moments where fans can say "I was there the day the Red Arrows gave Chester FC a flypast of their own".
"At present, we're due to see the Red Arrows perform their flypast at 2.18pm, and the display team are well known for their excellent timing, and this will give all fans an opportunity to see the flypast before going in to watch the match"
