Boston United's Marc Newsham scored a second half hatrick to end Stamford's Linconshire Senior Cup hopes tonight.
The Football League side went through 5-3 on penalties in the competition's semi-final after coming back from a 2-0 half time deficit.
The Daniels took a 2-0 lead thanks to an Andrew Hall penalty on six minutes and a second goal from Greg Smith after 36 minutes.
Newsham hit back for the Pilgrims on 62 and 64 minutes before giving his side the lead on 70 minutes from the penalty spot.
Ricky Miller sent the tie to penalties with a late equaliser on 87 minutes for the Evo-Stik NPL First Division South club before the penalty shoot-out ended their hopes of reaching the final.
