Evo-Stik Manager of the Month - August
Johnson, Lawson and Law take monthly awards.
Danny Johnson of Ashton United has been named as The Evo-Stik League Premier Division Manager of the Month for August. The Tamesiders lead the table after four games having won three and drawn one.
Tommy Lawson of Skelmersdale United and Marcus Law of Barwell take the First North and First South awards respectively each finishing the month on 100% records. Chorley’s Gary Flitcroft can think himself unlucky as the Magpies have stormed to the top of the division but a surprise reversal at Salford City in the FA Cup blotted his copybook for the month.
Each manager will receive a magnum of champagne and suitably inscribed certificate, kindly donated by sponsors Evo-Stik, prior to one of their home matches starting with Marcus Law before his teams FA Cup tie against Hucknall Town on the 11th September. Danny Johnson will receive his award on the 20th September and Tommy Lawson on the following Saturday 25th September.
