Farsley AFC have brought in right-back Aaron Hardy after he spent a spell at Bradford Park Avenue in pre-season, writes Mark Rawlinson.
The 26-year-old began his career at Huddersfield Town and has also had spells in the Conference North with Harrogate Town and FC Halifax Town before signing this week ahead of Farsley's Evo-Stik NPL First Division opener at Lancaster City.
Also signing for Farsley is young goalkeeper Tom Guildford who has been at the club since the start of pre-season following his release from York City and will act as cover for Tom Morgan.
Assistant manager Mark Jackson is pleased with the two new signings and believes the team are in good shape for the start of the season.
"Aaron’s a fantastic signing for the club. He’s got plenty of experience playing in the Conference North for Harrogate and Halifax and he’s got a lot to offer to the team," he said.
"Tom is also a good signing. He’s young and still learning but will provide a safe back-up for Tom Morgan.”
