Radcliffe Borough are going all out to get their local community behind them for Friday's friendly against Huddersfield Town.
Promoted Huddersfield are sending a strong squad to Stainton Park and Radcliffe say all fans, young and old, can see the clash for free.
The Evo-Stik NPL club has teamed up with the local media to publicise tomorrow night's offer. Today, the club revealed they've even launched a door-to-door leafleting campaign in the town to get people along to discover the club's growing facilities and attractions.
"We're hoping many new faces will come to watch their local town team and sample the atmosphere of a Non-League semi-professional game," said major shareholder Bernard Manning.
"We hope we can entice as many of the community as possible and it would be great if parents can bring their children and whole families can attend together.
"The main purpose is to allow the community to attend and sample a game at this level of football as we represent Radcliffe in the FA Cup and are in the national league tier.
"Through the football club the town of Radcliffe is known to a wide spectrum of people and we have a lot to offer. We just want people who have never been to come along and visit the club and see what we have on offer from the Community Trust Scheme to the Sports Complex, Sports Clinic, Function Room and Legends Bar.
Manning, who said a voluntary bucket collection will be made on the night for the club's Community Trust, added: "We offer so much to the community and we just want the community of Radcliffe to come and see where we are."
Kick off on Friday is 7.30pm. Children aged under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
