Ashton United are judging a record number of entries for their second annual photographic competition.
Organisers say the 'Take Two' event run by Evo-Stik NPL Premier Divsion Robins is shaping up to be even bigger and better than last year’s inaugural mass photo-shoot.
Saturday's tally of photgraphers snapping away at Hurst Cross during their 1-1 league draw with Grantham easily exceeded last season's numbers, leaving judges spoilt for choice as they sift through entries for a stand-out image like the hound, pictured, who was caught on film last time around ignoring the action!
The free-to-enter competition was only open to amateur photographers and the results will be announced in the coming weeks.
