Hednesford Town manager Rob Smith is getting together with fans to outline his plans for their Evo-Stik NPL Premier Division campaign.
The Pitmen manager has agreed to reveal his targets for the season next Thursday night [August 16] at a ‘Meet The Manager’ event organised by the Hednesford Town Supporters Association.
The group’s joint chairman Scott Smith believes the planned question and answer session will be a great chance for supporters to quiz their manager with the Pitmen looking set to kick off the season strongly on the back of a number of impressive signings over the summer.
"We have run a night like this for the last couple of seasons and Rob is always forthcoming with his views on his squad," said Smith. "It really is an opportunity for the loyal Pitmen supporters to come and hear what he has to say after an encouraging pre-season campaign.
"We've seen some quality players sign for us and the squad is looking strong. It will be very interesting to see what the manager has to say next Thursday night."
Admission to the event is free of charge and will take place in the Chase Suite at Keys Park from 8.30pm.
Hednesford Town Supporters Association's monthly committee meeting takes place immediately beforehand from 7.30pm and is open to all members.
