Evo-Stik NPL Premier Division Kendal Town have agreed a season long loan deal for Danny Williams with Conference North Chester.
Kendal Town say they've been approached by last season's Evo-Stik NPL Premier Division champions on a number of occasions about the availability of the defensive midfielder before finally agreeing to the loan on Friday.
Williams, who has ambitions to play professionally, is keen to play at the higher level and Kendal's Chairman Haydon Munslow said they didn't want to stand his way and would support his ambitions.
The Chairman said: "We are sorry to lose Danny out of the team but have also to think about his ambitions. We all wish Danny well and hope he does well with this new opportunity."
Munslow confirmed that Williams remains under contract with the club and would return next season unless the former FC United of Manchester, Clitheroe and Daisy Hill player is offered the chance to progress further.
