Coles Lane will welcome a host of former Premier League stars this Sunday morning (29th August, KO 11.30am) as Romulus Veterans line up against their Birmingham City counterparts in a tesimonial for Romulus joint manager Keith Brown.

Former St. Andrews favourites such as Paul Devlin, Tommy Mooney, Jerry Gill and Burton Albion manager Paul Peschisolido will grace the match in aid of Brown, who has now been with Romulus for 11 years, throughout their succesful transition to Saturday football since 1999.

The bank holiday weekend will prove a busy time for Romulus with first team fixtures sandwiching a testimonial for one of the clubs most loyal servants.

On Saturday the Roms make the short trip to Rushall Olympic in the FA Cup before another away day on Bank Holiday Monday, Stamford in the Evostik One South.

This comes on the back of a tough start for Richard Evans men, Saturday's close fought opener at Grantham Town ended in a narrow 1-0 defeat before the Roms let a 2 goal lead slip late on to draw against Quorn.

"We had a solid enough start in a tough game on Saturday but Tuesday night was a give away." said boss Richard Evans. "We bossed the game but threw it away."

"However there have been plenty of positives in both matches and Saturday's cup tie at Rushall will be an even game.

"As always, the FA Cup is very important to Romulus but we know from experience we are in for a tough tie."
