The Evo-Stik League Northern Premier

The FA Cup, sponsored by E.ON is probably the most famous club knock-out competition in the world. Last week it made an appearance at a special youngsters training session at Lancaster City.

And as the trophy continues on a tour of England spectators at next week’s Evo-Stik First Division North fixture between Salford City and Curzon Ashton will be able to see the famous old trophy in all its glory.

The Cup is set to make an appearance at Salford City’s Moor Lane home on Tuesday 7th September, and before heading back to Wembley will be available for photos until the match kicks off at 7:45pm.

Salford beat Chorley in the Preliminary Round of the competition last Saturday to set up a first qualifying round tie with Northwich Victoria on September 11th. Tuesday’s opponents Curzon Ashton face New Mills in the next round having overcome Congleton Town.

Salford City FC are sure that a bumper crowd will be attracted to Moor Lane for this very special occasion, and for what should be a very entertaining game.
