Due to the FA Cup there were just three games in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division South on Saturday and two of them ended goalless, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.
Brigg Town followed up Tuesday's win at Rainworth Miners Welfare by beating Hucknall Town 1-0 at the Hawthorns.
Liam Dickens' 10th minute strike was eventually enough to secure all three points for the Zebras as they won their second game on the bounce.
That proved to be the only goal in the division as the games at the Grove between Halesowen Town and Newcastle Town and at Hollinwood Close between Kidsgrove Athletic and Romulus both ended 0-0.
