Warrington Town have welcomed back former club secretary Geoff Bell as their new Matchday Co-ordinator.
Chairman Gary Skentelbery says the club is delighted with the popular figure's return at the end of a week that has already seen the Evo-Stik NPL First Division North club celebrate the renaming of Cantilever Park as the Abacus Solicitors Community Stadium.
The Wire's Chairman said: "We are delighted to have Geoff back on board with his many years experience and together with Chris [Henshall] we probably have one of the most experienced backroom teams in Non-League football."
Skentelbery, who saw Take That star Jason Orange pledge his future as a Wire fan as part of the new stadium sponsorship deal, added: "It's another piece in the jigsaw as we continue to move the club forward in a positive and professional manner."
Bell, well respected in the Warrington area with many years experience of football secretarial duties, will also work as an Assistant Secretary, providing support and cover for Club Secretary Chris Henshall.
His duties will include management of stewards, ball boys, club raffles and looking after visiting officials and matchday hospitality.
