Halesowen Town's Colts and Halesowen Town Ladies have reached the finals of the Black Country Sport's & Physical Activity Awards 2012.
The Yeltz have been nominated for Community Club of the Year for the success of their junior set-up and ladies, pictured, and the news comes just a few weeks after Halesowen Town became an FA Charter Standard Community Club, the highest level of accreditation offered by the Football Association.
Halesowen Town will be up against Gig Mill Swim School and Holly Lodge Badminton Club at the awards ceremony in November.
Yeltz spokesman Paul Guest said: "This shows how far the club have come in such a small amount of time and the event will be a good chance for Halesowen Town to show the whole of the Black Country exactly what we have achieved in 18 months and how we plan to continue to grow and develop as a club."
